About Me

Hi, I'm Stephen Stumbo, I'm 18 yrs old, and a self taught knifesmith/blacksmith. All through my childhood I've had affinity for blades, probably starting with my first pocket knife. At 12 I tried to grind a knife out of a sawzall blade, and was so proud of how it turned out. At 14 I convinced my dad to help me make a forge so I could try blacksmithing. After building the forge I had a rough time getting started, but after meeting a local blacksmith and getting some tips, I went at it. About a year into blacksmithing (2009) I decided to try my hand at making knives. I started out terribly, but I've slowly been progressing to where you see now. Take a look around, and let me know what you think, you can also find me on facebook to keep up with the goings on around the ole smithy.

Flasks

Hey everyone, I just wanted to clarify some confusion caused by that flask I made and sold.
.
.
.
First - Yes it was posted for sale, but I removed it soon after getting 6 emails wanting to buy it. So no, you aren't going crazy, it was at one point for sale.
.
.
.
Second - I will have more for sale soon. Check eagleyeforge.etsy.com too see if I have more, the next one should be done in two weeks.
.
.
.
Third - Why did I go to Etsy to sell them? I decided that to help with confusion around buying over email, and so I would be selling through a legitimate website, I would sign up on there and sell from their website.
.
.
.
Fourth - Price. When I list one for sale, the price is not including shipping. This is because I have had several people from other countries ask about them, if I had to build shipping into the price that would accomodate them, I would overcharge others here in America. So, expect to pay a few bucks more than the price listed. The last one I sold shipped to Ct for $8.50 (priority).
.
.
.
Thank you for understanding everyone, I expect to have some for sale soon, I'm sorry about the wait, I was very surprised by the response to the first one and not prepared for it to be so popular.
